Pastor David M. Pitcher is the 42nd pastor of Covert Baptist Church. Prior to coming to Covert Baptist Pastor Pitcher was a member of Seneca Bible Baptist Church in Seneca Falls NY where he served as the director of the Seneca Falls chapter of Reformers Unanimous for 3+ years under Pastor Terry Fenton. He also served as a Sunday School teacher, prison ministry worker and usher. Pastor Pitcher is a graduate of Slidell Baptist Seminary in Slidell LA. He also served with the 1/24th Infantry Batallion then stationed at Ft. Lewis Washington State. Pastor Pitcher enjoys hunting, trapping, reading, studying history, and spending time with his family and friends. Pastor Pitcher and his wife Sarah have been married for 18 years. Sarah Pitcher has been a member of Seneca Bible Baptist Church in Seneca Falls NY since her father Terry Fenton became the Pastor there in 1990. She has served as a Sunday school teacher, director of the nursery ministry and a women’s counsel group leader for Reformers Unanimous. Sarah currently heads our women’s ministry. Sarah enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
Pastor Pitcher and his wife Sarah have two children, Justin, who is 18 and Allayna, who is 14. Justin enjoys football, basketball, and lacrosse as well as attending teen activities. Justin is a senior in High School and plans on attending Hyles-Anderson College after graduation. Allayna enjoys cheerleading, lacrosse, singing, listening to music, and cooking. Allayna is a freshman in High School.
